Nokia releaved one of it's gems today, another addition to thepremium Arte-series. This new Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte stays faithful to the family tradition of sleek, stylish, and an exquisite finish yet again, tinged with a touch of distinctive personality.

Nokia 8800 Carbon Arte is cast in the same mold as the Arte and the Sapphire Arte. The materials used are different this time, carbon fiber with etched 3D patterns dominating the exterior. And yes, it does remind us of the LG KF750 Secret's battery cover too.

The external casing on the Samsung E200 Eco is made of corn-based material. This Material is called Bioplastic, which is made from materials extracted from corn. Bioplastics can also be made out of potato starch, sugar bagasse, and other material. The E200 Eco has a 1.3-megapixel camera, video messaging capabilities and an MP3 player. The phone will be available in Europe next month but does not yet have an American release date. As a bonus, the phone’s packaging is made from recycled materials.

The Palm Treo Pro that was previously annouced as the Treo 85, is going to be Windows based and not have the standard Palm OS. No news as to why this move was made or if the phone will be available in both OS formats when it comes time for retail. The Palm Treo Pro will be availble for GSM and no news about CDMA has been announce as of yet. There will be fast HSDPA (3G) data transfers and the whole thing is running on Windows Mobile Pro instead on Palm OS. The Palm Treo Pro will have Wi-Fi built into it as well as a microSD memory card slot. Other features include bluetooth, 3.5mm standard audio jack, microUSB port and a built in camera.

Bringing a PC environment to Mobile

The new Samsung OMNIA allows users to switch seamlessly between Microsoft Outlook email and productivity applications that replicate the look and feel of their PC - with a stroke of their finger.

Based on the most up to date Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system, Samsung OMNIA gives users a mobile extension to their PC experience, with access to MS Office documents such as PowerPoint, Excel and Word. Users can also send and receive email and manage their appointments in Outlook while on the go. The Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional operating system means users can download additional programs as they would on their PC and customize it for their individual needs. For ease of navigation an optical mouse similar to those on laptop computers offers improved usability and one-handed control.

The Sony Ericson TM506 is expected in early September, the clam shell phone is expected to be exclusively for T-Mobile, but that could change in a heart beat according to the carrier demands. The Sony Ericson TM506 is a mid range phone with average Tri-band compatibilities. No special characteristics other than the 3G support is mention, not even Wi-Fi as of yet. We could not find any other information to support the coming of the Sony Ericson TM506 on T-Mobiles website or what will be the cost to T-mobile customers. But that is not a determining factor that this is a rumor that will not see light, it could be T-Mobile it not putting any funding towards advertising the phone. Either way, the phone Sony Ericson TM506 has a cool appearance.
