We only wish would could say that we are shock to hear this news, but most people were not. The deal to aquire Helio was something that was just a matter of time more than anything else. Virgin Mobile aquires the Helio from SK Telecom and Earthlink for exactly 39M in Virgin Mobile USA stock. The deal is expected to be completed sometime in the third quarter of 2008. It looks like this time around it will not just be the Apple Store and ATT Authorized Dealers selling the Apple iPhone. This time around, it is rumored that Radio Shack and Best Buy will have the second coming of the Apple iPhone with its’ new 3^rd generation data feature. The first time around the estimated sales of the Apple iPhone were at 500,000 to 700,000. It’s hard to tell if history will repeat itself or exceed itself by out selling the estimates of last year.

The highly anticipated RIM Blackberry Bold 9000 is not being release until mid-august, there are apparently some issues regards to ATT software compatibility with the Blackberry Bold 9000.
